What's Included

Everything Ready for Your First User

Every VR and AR headset rental arrives pre-loaded with your demo content or a selection of ready-to-use applications, sanitised between users, fully charged and tested. For public-facing events, our on-site technician stays with the headsets to supervise user rotations, clean headsets between users and troubleshoot any technical issues. You do not manage the headset station — we do.

Content Pre-Loaded and Ready

Every headset is pre-loaded with your specified VR or AR application before dispatch. For Meta Quest devices, we install from the Meta Quest App Store or sideload via App Lab or direct APK for custom applications not in public release. For HoloLens 2, we deploy applications via Microsoft Intune MDM or sideload via Device Portal. Apple Vision Pro apps are installed via TestFlight or the App Store. Your content plays on every headset in the fleet identically from the moment the user puts it on. For events without custom content, we provide a curated selection of ready-to-use VR experiences appropriate to your audience and event type.

Sanitised and Safe for Public Use

Every headset is fully sanitised between rentals using antiviral cleaning solution on all contact surfaces including the facial interface, head strap and controllers. For public-facing events where multiple users share a headset within the same session, we supply disposable facial interface covers with every headset rental. These cover the foam padding and are replaced between each user. Each pack of 50 disposable covers is sufficient for a typical one-day event with continuous user rotations. Our on-site technician manages the rotation, cleans the headset and replaces the cover between each user so your attendees always put on a clean device.

On-Site Technician and Technical Support

For VR and AR event deployments, on-site technician support is strongly recommended and available in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, plus London and Dubai. Our technician manages the full headset station: setting up the play area, briefing users before they put the headset on, supervising the experience, assisting users who encounter motion discomfort and resetting the headset for the next user. For multi-headset deployments running simultaneously, one technician covers up to 6 headsets. Remote technical support is available 24 hours a day for self-managed deployments.

Use Cases

What Event Planners Use Our VR and AR Rentals For

01

Trade Show and Exhibition Booths

Trade show VR rental is the highest-volume event use case in Canada. Exhibitors at major shows in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal use Meta Quest 3 headsets to give attendees an immersive product experience inside a 10x10 or 10x20 booth. A visitor who walks a virtual factory floor, sits inside a product or experiences a service environment in VR spends significantly longer at a booth than a visitor watching a screen presentation. For trade show deployments, we recommend 3 to 5 Meta Quest 3 headsets per booth with a dedicated Tekk Group technician managing the station. Every headset runs a 2 to 3 minute demo loop so throughput at a busy booth is approximately 15 to 20 users per headset per hour.

Product Launches and Brand Activations

Product launches use VR to place the attendee inside the product before it physically exists. Automotive launches use VR to put guests inside the cabin of an unreleased model. Real estate developers use VR to walk buyers through unbuilt properties. Manufacturing companies use VR to demonstrate machinery in operation without the machinery being present. Apple Vision Pro is the preferred device for premium brand activations where the spatial computing experience matches the quality expectation of the brand. Meta Quest 3 is the right choice for activations requiring multiple simultaneous headsets at a lower cost per unit.

02

03

Corporate Training and Safety Demonstrations

Corporate training VR deployments use the headset to simulate environments that are expensive, dangerous or logistically impractical to recreate in person. Safety training programmes for manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, healthcare and emergency services use VR to walk employees through hazardous scenarios in a controlled environment. Microsoft HoloLens 2 is the enterprise standard for training applications that require the user to see both the virtual instruction and the real physical environment simultaneously -- hands-free AR overlays in manufacturing training, surgical procedure guidance in healthcare and maintenance procedure overlays in industrial settings.

Conferences and Keynote Experiences

Conference VR deployments typically run alongside the main programme as an experiential breakout activity. A 500-delegate conference might have a VR station in the networking area where attendees take a 3-minute branded VR experience during breaks. For keynote presentations, Apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest Pro headsets are used in speaker demonstrations to show audience members what spatial computing and mixed reality looks like in practice. We supply the headsets, manage the content and provide the technician. The conference organiser directs delegates toward the station -- everything else is handled.

05

Entertainment and Team Building

Team building VR events and entertainment activations use Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 headsets for multiplayer experiences, competitive gaming and virtual escape rooms. For corporate away days, VR gaming provides a technology-forward activity that does not require physical ability and scales from 4 people to 50 simultaneously with enough headsets. For entertainment zones at festivals, product launches and award ceremonies, VR stations drive dwell time and social media content generation. We supply the headsets, curate the content library for your audience and manage the station throughout the event.

Why The Tekk Group

Why Event Planners Choose The Tekk Group for VR and AR Rental

VR and AR rental specialists serving Canada, stocking Meta Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro and Microsoft HoloLens 2 for events, trade shows and brand activations of any scale.

Current Generation Devices

Meta Quest 3, Microsoft HoloLens 2 and Apple Vision Pro from a single supplier. We do not rent discontinued hardware. Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift are gone from our inventory because they are gone from the market. Your attendees put on the same headset they have read about in technology coverage, not a device from five years ago that signals your brand is behind the curve.

Content Pre-Loaded Before Dispatch

Every headset arrives with your application installed and tested. Meta Quest apps loaded via App Store or APK sideload. HoloLens 2 apps deployed via Microsoft Intune. Apple Vision Pro apps via TestFlight or App Store. For events without custom content, we provide a curated library of ready-to-use VR experiences appropriate to your event type and audience. No content setup is required at your venue.

On-Site Technician for Event Management

VR and AR events require more hands-on management than any other rental category. A headset station without a technician produces awkward user experiences, queues that do not move and devices that run out of battery mid-demo. Our on-site technicians manage user throughput, headset hygiene and technical troubleshooting throughout your event. Available in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, plus London and Dubai. One technician manages up to 6 headsets simultaneously.

24-Hour Canada Delivery and Global Coverage.

Overnight FedEx delivery to any Canadian address for standard headset models in stock. Same-day delivery in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. For international events, The Tekk Group operates from London, Dubai, and Barcelona. We have supplied VR and AR rentals in over 40 countries. For trade shows at convention centres, we coordinate directly with venue receiving teams, so headsets arrive at your booth ready to deploy.

Meta Quest 3 Rental for Events and Brand Activations

The Meta Quest 3 is the most rented VR headset for corporate events in Canada in 2026. It is standalone and wireless, which means users move freely without being tethered to a PC or external tracking sensors. The mixed-reality passthrough capability allows users to switch between full VR immersion and a view of the real world around them, which is a useful safety feature at public events where the user needs to remain aware of their surroundings. The Meta Quest 3 runs a 2 to 3 minute demo loop comfortably and handles high-throughput event environments. Rental pricing starts at CA$[X] to CA$[X] per unit per day for bulk event orders.

  • Meta Quest 3 — standalone wireless VR, mixed reality passthrough, ideal for trade shows and brand activations
  • Meta Quest 3S — compact lower-cost version, same core experience, best for high-volume event deployments
  • Meta Quest 2 — widely available, large content library, right choice for entertainment and team building events
  • Meta Quest Pro — higher resolution enterprise model, preferred for executive demonstrations and professional training

Microsoft HoloLens 2 Rental for Enterprise AR

Microsoft HoloLens 2 is an augmented reality headset, not a VR headset. The distinction matters operationally. The user wearing HoloLens 2 sees the real world with holographic content overlaid on top of it. They are not isolated in a virtual environment. This makes HoloLens 2 the right choice for applications where the user needs to interact with both the real environment and the digital content simultaneously: manufacturing training, surgical procedure guidance, remote expert assistance, product assembly instructions, and safety briefings in industrial environments. Every HoloLens 2 rental includes application deployment via Microsoft Intune and on-site setup.

  • HoloLens 2 — Microsoft AR headset, holographic overlay on real world, enterprise-grade, hands-free operation
  • Applications deployed via Microsoft Intune MDM before dispatch
  • Ideal for training, manufacturing, healthcare, remote expert assistance, and product demonstrations
  • Available with on-site technician support in Toronto, Vancouver, London, and Dubai

Apple Vision Pro Rental for Brand Activations and Premium Events

Apple Vision Pro is Apple’s spatial computing headset, occupying a category between VR and AR. The user sees the real world through high-resolution cameras with digital content positioned spatially within it. For brand activations and product launches where the device itself is part of the premium experience, Apple Vision Pro commands attention in a way that Meta Quest headsets do not. Attendees who have not yet used one are drawn to the experience by its appearance and reputation. For events where the goal is to position a brand as innovative and forward-thinking, Vision Pro delivers both the experience and the earned media of attendees photographing and posting about the device. Rental pricing starts at CA$[X] to CA$[X] per unit per day for event use.
